Veres Tibor wins EY Enterpreneur of the Year Award

Tibor Veres, Founder and Chairman of WALLIS Group, received the top prize of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program, and will also represent Hungary at the global finals of the international competition in Monaco.

For more than two decades, the Ernst & Young program has recognized business leaders whose outstanding performance, capability, and innovative mindset shape not only the future of the Hungarian economy, but the global economy as well through their unique business approach.

This year, Tibor Veres, Founder, Owner and Chairman of WALLIS Group, was selected as the award winner, earning the opportunity to represent Hungary at the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year global finals in Monaco.

Veres Tibor has been at the helm of the Wallis Group for more than 35 years. Today, the Group is present in 18 countries and owns and operates leading companies across multiple industries – including Grabo, which, as a member of the Group, is a key player in the international sports and industrial flooring market.. Several members of the portfolio are listed on the capital markets, while nearly 60 percent of the Group’s revenue is generated from international markets. Its operations are founded on transparency, high professional standards, and a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility.
