The GRABOWELD welding rods perfectly match the colour of the flooring.
The heat welding procedure creates a watertight seal on the surface of the flooring that won’t allow water to penetrate even during cleaning/maintenance.
We provide 4.5 mm diameter, circular cross section welding rods for public floors and those exposed to extended wear, as well as 4.0 mm diameter, circular cross section welding rods for fixed show floorings.
We recommend using various circular (4.0 and 4.5 mm) cross section and other shaped (K65G, Car, I-50, I-40, K 326G) welding rods for transport floorings.
WELDING

The installed flooring should be grooved at the joints mechanically or manually in an adequate
Welding should be made either by an automatic (self-travelling) or manual welding machine. The recommended temperature is 300 °C, but in order to set the optimal temperature and speed, test welding is strongly recommended prior to installation.
When applying roundshaped welding rod, the surplus, after the weld seam is cooled off, should be removed in 2 steps: first cut the cord into half by the help of a stripping skate and a quartermoon-knife. Then , after total cooling off, cut the balance flat by a quartermoon knife.
