Graboplast started its operations more than 110 years ago at its current site in Győr.
The Győr factory, renovated in 2008, has been one of the prominent workshops of the domestic plastic industry over the past century, as it was the only place in Hungary where artificial leather and PVC flooring were manufactured.
The company began PVC flooring production at its Győr site more than forty years ago, which also means that it has gained traditional manufacturing experience in producing this product in Europe.
Today, the Győr plant is primarily set up for the production of PVC flooring, where world-class sports, commercial, show, and automotive floor coverings are made.
Graboplast aims to continue the path it started in the past decade: to increase its market weight as a key European player among specialized flooring manufacturers by achieving above-average growth in new flooring types.

Tatabánya
In addition to Graboplast’s world-class PVC flooring factory built in Tatabánya in 1998, the company constructed a new Grabo Design Flooring Factory by 2016.
In addition to traditional PVC flooring production, Tatabánya manufactures LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) and direction-independent homogeneous floor coverings using entirely new technology, with a market showing over 10 percent growth worldwide.
In the spirit of environmental consciousness, since 2013 Graboplast has been processing the PVC waste generated during its manufacturing activities in Tatabánya, producing recyclable PVC granules for its own use with dedicated grinding equipment.
Our intention is to soon extend this recycling to PVC waste purchased from other companies as well.
For Graboplast, the use of environmentally conscious technology is of utmost importance, thus a large proportion of the waste generated during production is processed in-house in an environmentally and cost-efficient manner.

Kecskemét
In 1997, with the acquisition of the parquet factory in Kecskemét, real wood parquet appeared as a new product in the portfolio of Graboplast Zrt.
The Kecskemét parquet factory is a company with forty years of manufacturing experience. Based on this professional culture and to serve customer needs at a high level, Graboplast Zrt. implemented a new greenfield investment in the Kecskemét parquet factory after the acquisition. In 2000, the new strip parquet production line began operation, which, in terms of its technical capabilities, is of European standard and the most modern strip parquet manufacturing plant in Central Europe.
Real wood parquet has proven to be a highly promising product, and the enormous demand for the product induced another capacity expansion investment in 2005. Upon completion, the factory is now capable of producing nearly 2 million m² of product.
